NEW YORK LIFE HURTS PEOPLE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF THE INDUSTRY.
WHY ELSE WOULD THEY HAVE BEEN FINED MORE THAN $2,000,000.00
16 TIMES IN THE LAST FIVE YEARS?
WHY ELSE WOULD THEY HAVE BEEN FINED MORE THAN 350 TIMES FOR FILLING LATE WITH FINRA(NASD)?
HOW DO THEY JUSTIFY TELLING LIES IN US COURT ABOUT THEIR OWN PAYROLL PRACTICES?

Remember, insurance agent is not your friend nor on your side !
Lawyers are, when you pay them, they do all this legal documents exchange and making sure you sign a document beneficial to you, and lawyer follows all closely.
Trust no one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! use your common sense

June 15, 2010
I would never sign any contracts, insurance policy, documents without advice and security from a lawyer or even two… always have a backup from a lawyer, ALWAYS !
$3000 policy premium per month with no lawyer on your side, prior to signing policy ? sometimes people wish to save some $ without realizing how much they risk for the future… they also trust these assholes insurance Co. etc.

@NYLifeInsuranceFraud I personally must agree with you . I am a college student in the medical field ,insurance companies don’t care about customers’ all they care about is about how much money they will make regardless of the situation

Great video about the FRAUD done to this woman by New York Life (N.Y Life) & their criminal agent Suk-ku Lim who now plays ‘businessman’ in Virginia.
Not surprising that courts have a short Statute of Limitations-they’re in bed with BIG BUSINESS, and Insurance is one of THE biggest.
SHAME ON YOU N.Y LIFE INSURANCE for stealing a working woman’s money through your criminal agent and keeping it via a technicality.
SHAME VIRGINIA COURTS, for having a statute of limitations on clear FRAUD!

Keep hearing that NYL is a great company and what not.. They are one of the most admired in their industry.. They are in Insurance industry lol. Doesn’t prove anything. All these variable products and whole life has HUGE commissions on top of mutual fund fees and insurance fees for variable products.. It may be good for some but for me it’s just too inefficient. TOo much of money money is going out as fees and commissions.
I think buying term, and investing in index funds makes sense.

the market has gone nothing but up. Sure it has its up and downs but the span of 30yrs shows nothing but improvement, retirement is a long term goal not a short one and if they are worried and are 55yrs or older there is a wonderfull product from metlife that has a gauranteed rate of return that is tied in with mutual funds. All aside whole life pays out awesome profit for you and thats not a bad thing thats how you get paid. The only problem is the fact that its not a great product.

June 15, 2010
well I wouldn’t buy any life insurance with a cash value to it EVER!!! Worst investment no matter how you look at it. As for me researching nyl custom whole life I will but I would recommend you to investigate van kampens equity and income fund. Your argument about the market is weak, again if you would look at the last 30yrs the market has gone nothing but up! Use yahoo or anything to show u a graph.

June 15, 2010
lol, do some research on nyl custom whole life. thats a great product with face value going up fasssst. As far as i know, nyl cash value life ins can beat any other companies’ cuz i did search on that.

hahaha, eat steak later or have nothing to eat. buy term invest the difference? do you check on the market out there? NYL the most admired’ company in industry. AND it is like any other careers, there good people and bad people. So be smart and think about what they say, not how they look. same thing here. Is it a real case or some kind of competitive fighting behind the scene? if its a real case. I’m sorry what shes been through and wish her the best coming.

June 15, 2010
I appreciate your point of view civic. Its very true that people are not disciplined enought to follow through with investing the diff. but that is were PAC’s come in and facilitate such actions. Also you are correct mutual funds don’t offer gaurantees but 2-4% gauranteed or choosing 8-12% non gauranteed well my friend I think anyone who truely has interest in having a good retirement fund is interested on high rate of return vs. being safe. Best to sleep less now but eat steak later.

Lol thats funny that selling anything other than level term makes you a crook. But hey if you wan to buy the term and invest the difference by all means please do that. An insurance agent and show you how to do both. The problem w/ that is a lot of people dont’ have the discipline to do both. Whole Life or cash value policies off something mutual funds cannot which is a guarantee. I have nothing against Dave or Susan b/c a lot of what they are saying is correct. Check out all your options first!

shame? Embarrassment? silly and ill-informed? WTH are you talking about? You don’t know that perhaps people have worked at NY life to know how things are good sir. Perhaps “you” yourself should choose a better choice of words when you perhaps are ill informed as well. As for you saying the internet is a terrible place, I take it your new to the internet lol

Isn’t the internet a wonderful place? You can anonymously say all kinds of unkind and unfounded things to people, free of any sense of shame or embarrassment. You never need to choose your words carefully as you fling about silly and ill-informed accusations, because the people you’re offending aren’t really human beings, but rather nameless commenters on the other end of cyberspace. Well done, phatbimmer. You’ve outdone yourself. You grace us all with your presence.

If you sell anything other then level term your a croock. You probably don’t sell level term, you sell your clients cash value and then mail them their policies so you don’t have to explain the measly 2-4% their gaining, how you keep their money for the first 1-2yrs how you often only pay the face value and keep the clients cash value when they die. You people are evil, suze orman and dave ramsey recommend you all to buy LEVEL TERM!!! invest the diff.!!!!

I am a NY Life agent, and actually used to work in the same office as SK Lim, though I did not have a relationship with him. For what it’s worth, I try very hard to serve my clients with honesty and integrity, often talking them into spending less on insurance policies than they otherwise might. I’m sorry for your experience. Not knowing all the details, I can’t tell where all the fault lies, but it’s clear you’re VERY dissatisfied. My apologies. There are honest agents out there, FYI.
